Most portrait galleries are delivered within 3-4 weeks but this may be longer in busy seasons. Similarly, weddings are usually delivered within 8-12 weeks. Sneak peeks are only supplied for weddings, gender reveals, surprise proposals and birth announcements.
I can absolutely help! I've spent hours upon hours in search of locations around Toowoomba and am lucky to have a few favourites. If you have a spot in mind, let me know! If I'm able to, I will check it out prior to our session to make sure the lighting is suitable.
Absolutely, YES! I'm based in Toowoomba but travel quite a bit for my work. My work has taken me all over SE Qld and northern NSW. Send me an email and I'll be happy to discuss whether or not your location will incur extra travel costs.
Great question. The number of final images you receive will depend on the amount of time you've booked me for. You will receive all edited images. This does not mean you be delivered every single image taken during your session or event. This means you will be delivered all images that pass the culling process. Not every image will be in focus or exposed correctly. It is also important to remember that challenges such as bad weather or upset children may reduce the amount of final images you receive. You will receive the best images from your session/day. On a general scale, you're looking at approximately 50-60 images per hour of coverage, however I have delivered over 100 images per hour before.
Golden hour (just before sunset/after sunrise) and blue hour (just before sunrise/after sunset) are magic! The soft, warm light created at these times of day make it the best time for incredible portraits. Full daylight? Not so great. When the sun reaches certain heights in the sky it creates harsh, unflattering shadows over clients faces. These shadows are mostly near impossible to remove in post processing. On occasion, I make exceptions for clients that have been made fully aware of these risks. However if you're wanting the most out of your session then I suggest to shoot at sunrise or sunset.
Of course! My collections aren't 'one size fits all'. Every wedding, every couple and every family are different. Shoot me an enquiry through my contact form and we can create your own custom and personalised quote that will suit your needs.
I'm all for pre-wedding meetings. I think it's so important to meet your photographer before your day. At your pre-wedding meeting we will go over some important details about your day, including a timeline, family photo shot list and any other important information. There are times when meeting a client before a wedding day isn't always possible. I get it! Life is busy! We can have a phone call meeting or I can simply send you an online questionnaire to fill out. Easy peasy!
Yes! I have public liability insurance. I can supply venues with my insurance certificate upon request.
Only if you ask me to! This is usually something I go over in my pre-wedding meeting. I'm happy to edit away any blemishes and scars as requested.
First things first, send me an email to see if I'm available! If I'm free and you're happy with the package cost, you will need to pay a retainer of 35%. Both you and your partner will need to sign a contract as well. Once this is done your date will be locked in! Yeehaw!
Second shooters are so valuable! I recommend all couples to consider having a second shooter at their wedding. A second photographer means more happy snaps in your final gallery (the more the better, I say!) and also means that you're more likely to get candid photos of your guests while I'm off doing those bigger jobs with you and your bridal party. A second shooter ranges from $50-$75 per hour.
This one is SO important! My professional camera bodies have 'dual card slots'. This means that every time I take a snap the image is duplicated and written to two separate cards. If I ever lose a card or a card were to become corrupted, I would always have that second card available with those same images. As soon as I get home I also back up your images to my iMac and to two external hard drives. It may seem like overkill but I want to keep your memories safe in every way I possibly can.
When necessary, yes. This is charged and decided upon with each different wedding. I have weddings interstate where clients acknowledge that they need to pay for my accomodation, flights and travel. It's not something I enjoy charging couples which is why I make it as reasonable as possible.
